Here is a good Tecumseh HM80 engine longblock that came off of a 1984 Simplicity snowblower. It has a tight rotation with good compression. It is in decent structural and cosmetic condition. It will need a new flywheel side seal around the bearing cap for oil tightness. Other than that there were no glaring leak problems. The valve train operates as intended without a lot of noise. Also included are three pieces of matching cylinder cooling sheet metal that are in decent shape and absolutely critical for running operation. This is still a good usable engine for a builder or just a replacement block, crank, and piston for that one that lost it’s rod through the crankcase! These vintage HM 80 motors have a good reputation for implement power. This one can serve well for that blower, tiller, or water pump. The cart and mini bike guys like these too for a retro ride! This is a nice old school Ariens cast iron auger gear set. The worm shaft is about 15 5/8 long and has a keyway, not spline. Helicon gear has a 1″ ID (I may also have the older 7/8″ ID gears if you need that type instead). Parts are in great condition with no visible wear or damage. This is a nice used set of cast iron auger gears that will work on any of the Ariens 910000′s series machines (1 auger shaft).

This 32 Cross Shaft pertains to an older model Ariens snow blower, such as Ariens # 910995. This part is NEW, but it is not in its’ original packaging. The Cross Shaft is listed as 32″ in length, but the actual length (as measured) is 31 -7/8″. The part contains 5 holes for pin placement as well as a single threaded hole on either end (for a total of 7 holes in the shaft). This Ariens Cross Shafts’ appearance condition (as viewed in listing photos) is 95%, but the actual material condition is 100%. Feel free to send us your model and serial #’s from your unit for confirmation of this part fitting your snow blower. This one is a survivor that is in good condition for it’s age! And a good piece of John Deere history to a collector. This machine was built by Jacobson, it is a 2cycle 32.1 mix, the electric start still works. I used this machine as a antique engine display unit in shows and to my knowledge has not been put in service blowing snow in about 20 yrs. It does have a small crack in one of the bolt holes in the plastic on the cover (see picture). It does start up and run when you shoot gas in it, but should have new gaskets and seals put in the carburetor if to be put back in service, especially not being used in 2 decades. The items description is listed to my knowledge and the best of my ability. All sales are final. What you see in the picture of the machine is what you wil receive.

Cord and body both have cracks. Item is in good overall vintage condition showing normal signs of age, use, and wear. Item has been tested producing a strong spin.
