Here is a good Tecumseh HM80 engine longblock that came off of a 1984 Simplicity snowblower. It has a tight rotation with good compression. It is in decent structural and cosmetic condition. It will need a new flywheel side seal around the bearing cap for oil tightness. Other than that there were no glaring leak problems. The valve train operates as intended without a lot of noise. Also included are three pieces of matching cylinder cooling sheet metal that are in decent shape and absolutely critical for running operation. This is still a good usable engine for a builder or just a replacement block, crank, and piston for that one that lost it’s rod through the crankcase! These vintage HM 80 motors have a good reputation for implement power. This one can serve well for that blower, tiller, or water pump. The cart and mini bike guys like these too for a retro ride!
